Hallanvahti is nearing completion

The largest solar power project in Finland, Hallanvahti, has almost finished construction. The construction began early last year, and it has progressed as planned and in schedule. Now, Hallanvahti is almost complete. The project will be completed and fully operational by the end of June.

Electrification was completed in the spring of 2026, and April 2026 was the first time that electricity was produced to the grid. Removal of the temporary structures will happen during summer, and an opening ceremony including an open house event is being planned for early September. The event will be open to the public, and more information about the event will be given later.
